PADI
Open Water Classes |
The Open Water Scuba Diving Course is a full
certification course allowing you to scuba dive independently of an
instructor or divemaster. As a certified diver you will experience
amazing dive destinations, marine life, new friends, new adventures,
and lots of fun. |
Knowledge Development: You learn the theory
required to be confident in the water. The PADI Scuba Diver Education
System contains everything you need to complete the Open Water
Scuba Diver Course. |
Confined Water Dives:
You develop the basic skills that all divers need in a low stress
environment. It reinforces
the Knowledge Development training by having student divers practice
and apply what they learn from reading the manual. There are 2 or 3
sessions in a pool. Each session is about 3 to 4 hours |
Open Water Dives: This completes your
certification. You put your new skills into practice and experience
the underwater world. The skills that you learned in confined water
are repeated giving you the experience needed to dive safely. These
dives are held at Dutch Springs. There will be 4 dives completed
over 2 days, 4 to 6 hours each day. During this time you will take
an exam demonstrating your understanding of scuba diving concepts. |
